Tucked away in 24 acres of woodland and open countryside on the edge of Dartmoor, Hideaway offers a truly special setting for couples who want to celebrate their day surrounded by nature, fresh air and the people they love most.

Whether your vision is a woodland wedding, a country celebration or a laid-back festival-style weekend, Hideaway gives you the freedom to create a wedding that feels completely your own.

Exclusive use of the whole site

Your wedding at Hideaway is always offered on an exclusive hire basis, giving you complete privacy and the space to relax into your celebrations.

The site includes

• Five unique glamping units
• One camping pod
• A large four-acre camping field for tents, campervans and caravans
• Shower blocks, toilets and compost loos
• A cosy indoor chill-out space

This means your guests can stay on site with you and enjoy a whole weekend together — not just a single day.

A truly magical setting

Your guests can enjoy everything Hideaway has to offer throughout the weekend, including:

• peaceful woodland walks
• meeting our friendly pigs
• relaxing in the hammock garden
• exploring the fairy glade
• and gathering together around the fire pit in our stone circle, known as Hideaway Henge

It’s a place where people naturally slow down, connect and feel at ease — which creates a wonderfully warm and relaxed atmosphere for your wedding.

You’re welcome to bring in your own caterers, marquee, celebrant, musicians and suppliers — and we’re very happy to share local contacts if you’d like recommendations.

"We were lucky enough to have our wedding at Hideaway Camping in the spring of 2019. From the get go Hideaway were extremely helpful and enthusiastic. We were looking for a venue that would be in a beautiful setting, with spectacular and romantic views and enough room for a large wedding party. We found all of this in Hideaway. We loved the gypsy caravan in which we stayed and our guests throughly enjoyed the other accommodation options, such as the airstream, and the wonderful camping facilities. Hideaway went above and beyond to ensure that the site looked spectacular on the day with beautiful decorations.
